Singer Ric Hassani Apologises For Shading Colleagues While Applauding Burna Boy

Popular Singer Ric Hassani has apologised for throwing shades at his colleagues while hailing Grammy winner Burna Boy.

In a now-deleted post on Twitter, Ric Hassani hailed Burna Boy for his performance at the Madison Square Garden in New York, saying the singer has set the standard for others.

Ric however, threw shades at other artistes who he accused of always yelling on stage. The singer said Burna Boy had raised the bar and other Nigerian singers should learn from the African Giant.

The comment sparked reactions from fans of popular Nigerian Davido who believed Ric was throwing shades at their favourite artist Davido.

Ric Hassani however took to Twitter to apologise for his statement, saying he could have passed his massage in a better way without putting down another artist. 

“Okay, I took a moment to catch my breathe. I understand those offended, I apologise. I could have passed the message in a better way. Love, always love,” he wrote.

Recall that Burna Boy has been making waves with his concert which has gained widespread recognition.

Various musicians have hailed the grammy award-winning singer.
