Peter Okoye Under Fire After Unusual Greeting With James Brown

Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye popularly known as Mr P has come under social media attack after exchanging pleasantries with fast- rising cross dresser, James Brown as though he were a woman.

The singer who was captured at the 40th birthday celebration of Nollywood star, Ini Edo while exchanging pleasantries with the cross dresser in an usual manner, thereby sparking numerous reactions from fans and social media users.

In a video that has surfaced online, Peter Okoye was spotted exchanging an air kiss while exchanging pleasantries with James Brown.

In reaction, a fan simply identified as sandra_benneth slammed the singer on asking why he greeted the cross dresser in such a manner.

sandra_benneth: “Why peter dey greet am like say he dey greet woman.

emarh_jerry; ”But this is wrong tho….It’s a stated sin in the Bible, but these days everyone be taking it as a normz. This is devilish”

Meanwhile the attack on Peter Okoye on his relationship with James Brown came as  Goodluck Jonathan has rejected the All Progressives Congress, APC presidential expression of interest and nomination forms obtained for him by a group, the Nomadic Herders and Almajiris Community in Nigeria.

While he said that he did not authorize anyone to purchase the forms for him, an aide of President Muhammadu Buhari affirmed that he, Jonathan was already an APC member as the forms could not be purchased for anyone who is not a member of the party.

Dr Jonathan, in a statement sent to GreenWhiteGreen GWG by his Media Adviser Ikechukwu Eze, titled RE: PURPORTED PURCHASE OF APC PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATION FORM FOR FORMER PRESIDENT  JONATHAN, the former president said:

“It has come to the notice of His Excellency Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, that a group has purportedly purchased Presidential  Nomination and Expression of Interest forms, of the All Progressives Congress (the APC), in his name.
