Many Casualties Feared In Rivers Church Stampede

Many casualties were being feared in a stampede which occurred just before the beginning of a programme organised by a new generation church in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

Though, the church known as ‘Kings Assembly’ is located in the GRA axis of the metropolis, the programme was at the Polo Club in the Rivers State capital. The programme was moved there to accommodate the overflowing congregation.

It was learnt that the crowd overstretched the venue as the church had invited members of the public to come and receive gift items and food for its fourth anniversary.

A source at the event said the crowd which started trooping in at about 6:30am on Saturday morning pushed open a small gate to gain entrance leading to a stampede.

The number of casualties was yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report from the stampede at the Port Harcourt church event.
Meanwhile in other developments,

Recall that Stefflon Don, former lover of Burna Boy had on May 26, 2020 disclosed her readiness to to tell her side of story concerning her relationship with Burna Boy, after the self acclaimed Africa Giant dropped his heartbreak song “Last Last” which narrated their love affair.

In reaction Steff revealed she would tell her side of the story in a diss song she captioned “First of all my side of the story.” Steff had promised to drop the song once she got 40k comments on her social media post.
