The reactions are coming shortly after  the presidential aspirant, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, paid a condolence visit to the scene of the incident and donated N75m for the families of the victims and the church where the incident occurred.

The donation by Tinubu was announced by the governor of the state, Rotimi Akeredolu, via his Twitter page.

“Today, we received the National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju @officialABAT accompanied by Former @HouseNGR Speaker, @YakubDogara and other eminent Nigerians who came to commiserate with us over the Sunday terror attack at St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street in Owo.

We thank Asiwaju Tinubu for the 50million naira donation to the families of the victims of the terror attack and another 25million naira for the Catholic Church,” he wrote.

This report has however stirred massive reactions from Nigerians who seem to be suspicious of the huge donations by the aspirant.
