Buhari’s Govt Most Corrupt Ever In Nigeria – Oyedepo

Bishop David Oyedepo has slammed the Muhammadu Buhari administration as the most corrupt in the history of Nigeria.

In a message delivered to his church congregation on Monday, June 13, the  Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Oyedepo said it was ironic that the administration claims to be fighting corruption but that it’s officials are neck deep in corruption.

Besides depicting the administration as corrupt, Oyedepo also described the Buhari government as wicked noting that one official of the government was accused of stealing N80 billion which was more than enough to settle the issues with the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.

He said:

Many children are out of school, there is nothing to pay to get them back to school. We saw some folks in Covenant University that we had to help out to graduate. First-class students can’t get N30,000 to pay under this wicked government, selfish, self-centred.

What a fight against corruption? You were all deceived. You can’t be in corruption and be fighting corruption. The most corrupt regime in the history of Nigeria.

You heard of the Auditor General… N80 billion. All they need to get the university up and running is less than the N80 billion but they are not interested because their children are not there.”

The assertions of the cleric is one that is bound to be contested by supporters of the administration who have in the past claimed that the government inherited a legacy of corruption from the preceding administration and that the moral integrity of President Buhari would not reflect the tag of him presiding over what Oyedepo has labelled as the most corrupt government in the history of Nigeria.
