Ekiti Election: Segun Oni, Wife Cast Vote, Allege Vote Buying

The governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Ekiti State, Segun Oni and his wife have successfully cast their ballot in the ongoing governorship poll in the state.

The gubernatorial hopeful and his wife cast their votes at Ward Four, Until 6, Ifaki Ekiti, the native town of the SDP flag bearer.

Engr. Segun Oni, has alleged vote buying in the ongoing Ekiti governorship election.

Oni, who made the allegation shortly after he cast his vote at the ward 2 unit 6, Ifaki Ekiti, said the irregularities are ongoing in Ado and Oye Ekiti respectively.

“I was just informed that there is vote buying in Ado and Oye Ekiti. This is not allowed by the law of the land. I want the security agencies, especially the EFCC officials, to move to the areas and stop it,” he said.
