This message was announced via the official Instagram page of the anti-graft agency while calling on the masses to deliberate on the topic.
Making the announcement, the agency wrote:
“Okay now! What a juicy topic! E go sweet wella! Landlord way yahoo-boy dey stay for him house, my people, na 15 years imprisonment for the landlord o! E don set!”
This announcement has sparked massive criticism from social media users who faulted the rule.
While many Nigerians blasted the EFCC over what was said as misplaced priorities, many others in anger over the pursuit of the landlords accused EFCC officials of fathering children who are also internet fraudsters or Yahoo boys.
