Reactions Trail As Osinachi’s Husband Escapes From Kuje Prison

Strong reactions have been coming from Nigerians over reports that Peter Nwachukwu, the husband of the late gospel singer, Osinachi was among the inmates who escaped during last Tuesday’s terrorist attack on the Kuje Medium Security Correctional Centre, Abuja.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), revealed that a total number of 879 inmates escaped from the facility during the night attack.

According to reports, multiple security sources on Tuesday, July 12, confirmed that Osinachi’s husband who is detained in the Kuje facility was among the escapees during the attack. 

“DURING OUR ROLL CALL YESTERDAY, WE DISCOVERED THAT THE HUSBAND OF THE LATE GOSPEL SINGER WAS MISSING,” A SENIOR PRISON OFFICIAL SAID.

While reacting to the development some Nigerians suspected foul play in the fact that the authorities did not initially disclose the fact that Osinachi’s husband was among the escapees.

Many on account of the reports and revelations of the way he treated the well loved singer, are asking that he should be returned to the facility.
