The children stormed the entrance of the Obafemi Awolowo University campus in Ile-Ife with placards accompanied by  some adults demanding an end to the lingering strike.

The pupils carried different placards which read, “Don’t borrow our future away,”

“I am the future ASUU, make no mistake about it,”

“I am the future ASUU.” Don’t forget”.

Reacting to a video of the incident that surfaced online, Nigerians took to the comments section to air their opinions.
