Protest: NLC Members Move Protest To Sanwo-Olu’s Office
Members of the Nigeria Labour Congress have moved the protest to the office of the Governor of the state.
The members claimed that Lagos State Government has refused to address the protesting members of the Nigeria Labour Congress.

The protest was organised by NLC to support the unions in the tertiary institutions over the lingering strike.
Lagos State Chairman of NLC, Mrs. Agnes Sessy, said, “We are waiting for Mr. Governor. This letter must be delivered today. We are waiting for him or his representative to collect our letter. We will wait.”
Members of NLC arrived at the Ikeja Under Bridge and marched peacefully to the Lagos State Governor’s office.
The protesters arrived at the gate of the Lagos State House, Ikeja at 11.40am, and as of press time, no official of the Lagos State government had addressed the protesters.
Members of Academic Staff Union of Universities, Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and Non-Academic Staff Union of Allied and Educational Institutions, Nigerian Union of Teachers, and other affiliate unions of NLC were at the protest.
