“Why Always Apostle Suleman?”- Nigerians Ask As Latest Sex Scandal Intensifies

As the allegations of sex escapades levelled against Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries and multiple Nollywood actresses intensify, a large section of Nigerians are asking why he has become the major cleric in the Christian faith regularly being accused.

About eleven months ago, Nollywood actress, Ifemeludike had in a video, claimed that her colleague, Lynda Clems connected her to the man of God for amorous relationship.
She had also claimed that she could no longer keep the secret with her and hence, her confession.
About seven months later, Apostle Suleman trended on social media after a Canadian-based singer, Stephanie Otobo who had in the past levelled allegations against the cleric released some nude photos on Twitter, which she claimed were captured during their alleged times of intimacy.
The latest brouhaha was sparked after popular IG blogger, Gistlover began dragging Apostle Suleman after the vivacious Nollywood actress was reported to have succumbed to a mysterious disease after sleeping with a popular ‘Man of God’. He subsequently released a long list of some of the most prominent actresses in Nigeria who he claimed to have slept with Apostle Suleman.
Several of them including Shan George, Destiny Etiko among others have come out to hail him as a good man and also denying intimacy with him.
Apostle Johnson has also been praised for his philanthropy and other good works including repeatedly bringing the authorities to account. Indeed, it was when he reprimanded the authorities over the ASUU strike that Stephanine Otobo released the nude photos. That coincidence forced Apostle Suleman who rarely replies to such allegations to imply a conspiracy.
Nevertheless, many Nigerians are now wondering why the Apostle is always caught in the web of sex scandals involving Nollywood actresses.
A Twitter user, identified as @splendsta who expressed his curiosity to know why the cleric is always involved in sex scandals wrote: “I hardly criticize any pastor but among all pastors in Nigeria I’m curious to know why it’s always Apostle Suleman that’s in the middle of Nigerian actress wahala… from Stephinie to Chacha Eke to Halima Abubakar .. was he an actor before or he own a section of Nollywood??”

Another Twitter user identified as @ofoyekpenep while replying another user who attempted to defend the Apostle wrote: “ You are just saying what u are not certain about. My question is, is it only ur pastor that’s in this country. every time sex scandal. Take a step back ma and think about it . Salvation is personal he will not intercede for u on judgment day so on that note I say hv a gud day ma”
