Economy: Lauretta Onochie Under Fire For Using Biden Speech To Defend Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide, Lauretta Onochie has come under social media attack after citing a speech by President Joe Biden of the United States to to defend her principal, Buhari. 

Recall that several countries in the world including the United States had been feeling the pinch of rising inflation and Central Banks the world over had been putting forward efforts to remedy the situation in their respective countries.

President Biden had on his part recently addressed the American people as he sought to explain the situation. 

Lauretta Onochie, an aide of President Buhari had posted the Biden speech to explain that the economic pains were global as she slammed Nigerians murmuring over the hardship.

Added to the post, she wrote: “ hardship is only in Nigeria, abi no be so…? God bless Nigeria.”

Reacting to her post, Nigerians took to her comment section to fire her.
