Fury Over Tinubu’s Absence At NBA Conference
The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has come under social media attack following his absence at the Annual General Meeting of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA.
GWG reports that the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, the Labour Party, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi were present at the Annual General Meeting of the NBA while their APC contemporary, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu was absent.

However, standing in for him was his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.
The 2022 NBA AGM is themed “BOLD Transitions.”
Also present at the event were Governors Solomon Lalong and Godwin Obaseki of Plateau and Edo State respectively.
The Lagos State Attorney General, Moyosore Onigbanjo represented Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, while the Chief Judge of the state, Kazeem Alogba, was also present.
Reacting to the absence of Tinubu at the NBA conference holding in his political fiefdom, Nigerians poohpoohed his decision to delegate his running mate, Shettima to represent him at the event.

Nigerians have indeed rejected Bola Ahmed Tinubu. His Vice Presidential Candidate, Kashim Shettima, representing him at the 62nd Nigerian Bar Association conference, is being ignored by lawyers with lots of noise and side conversations as his speech is ongoing.
