From Frying Pan To NNPP Fire: Reactions As Shekarau Accuses Kwankwaso Of Deceit
Nigerians are having their say after what once promised to be an unbeatable political marriage between Senators Rabiu Kwankwaso and Ibrahim Shekarau in the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP began to unravel with the allegation of deceit.
Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, a former Governor of Kano State, announced that he would take a decision on Thursday as concerning his continued relationship with the NNPP following claims that his supporters were not pushed forward in the nomination of candidates to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC. He was, however, not clear on his next direction.

Shekarau while addressing a crowd of supporters on Monday at the Kano Foundation office along BUK Road, accused Kwankwaso not only of deceit but also of humiliating him.
The former governor who went down memory lane over what transpired between him and Kwankwaso during his brief stay in the NNPP noted with dismay that, he was alone, given forms to contest his Senatorial seat leaving his teeming supporters to wallow in destitution.
According to Shekarau, all these and many more deceit has proven to him that he has no place in NNPP with Kwankwaso because his party politics always goes with his supporters and any attempt to throw them away would be rejected.
Reacting to the development, Nigerians slammed him and Kwankwaso stating that they are both the same.
