Supporters Accused Of Using Ambode’s Achievements To Market Tinubu

Nigerians have taken to social media to attack the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu for allowing his supporters to pass off the achievements of his successor, Akinwunmi Ambode as part of his success story.

This is upon the claims of by supporters that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu single handedly built Lagos State to become the commercial hub that it is today.
Supporters of Tinubu while marketing their candidate, often credit all the achievements of the state to the APC flag bearer.

However, Nigerians have opposed the claims by the APC candidate’s supporters with some mocking them of taking the achievements of Ambode in office to Tinubu.

GWG reports that the issue of passing off the achievements of Ambode to Tinubu is particularly sensitive for some given the acrimony that led to the two former governors parting ways after the former was not allowed for a second term in office.

However, supporters of Tinubu feel that the APC presidential candidate is entitled to take credit for the achievements of Ambode on the strength of the claim that Tinubu is the architect of modern Lagos, Babatude Fashola who succeeded him was the actualiser while Ambode was referred to as the consolidator.

While #OBIDIENTS are spreading the achievements of @PeterObi all around, Tinubu boys are dubiously giving Tinubu credits for projects that Ambode executed. It took Lagos 16 years to start seeing some normalcy from the mess that Tinubu institutionalized. Don’t be deceived!
