GWG reports that, Professor Osodeke, had earlier revealed that only quack and irrelevant universities would shun the ongoing strike and resume academic activities.

Osodeke made this known during a virtual interview on Arise TV, while reacting to reports of some branches of the union shunning the strike and resuming academic activities.

Some universities had decided to stop the prolonged strike and return to classes.

The National President of the union, however, disowned such schools saying that some of those schools were not recognized by the union.
