This is however different from the men who continue to live life as though unmarried with the same set of mostly unmarried men.

Here are some reasons married women avoid their single friends after marriage;

  1. Different priorities

Some ladies feel you stop having same priorities once you’re married. For instance, a married woman knows that she is in a committed relationship and she has responsibilities on her hand. Meanwhile, a single lady doesn’t have to rush home to anyone. With this reason, a married woman will be forced to be friends with people who have the same priorities.

2. They don’t want to get tempted back into single ladies lifestyle

Most married women feel since they are now in a committed relationship, they need to change their friends to suit their lifestyle. Some are afraid of being dragged back into the single ladies lifestyle. Single ladies are free to go and come as they like, but a married woman can’t just act that way.

3.Some married women cut off their single friends because of their Husbands

Some husbands begin to choose friends for their wives once they are married. Some husbands feel that their wives’ single friends may be bad influence on her. Most times, men do advise their wives to be friends with married women as well. That way, they get to share and relate issues pertaining to marriage.
