Alleged Fraud: Ogun Speaker, Olakunle Oluomo Released From EFCC Custody

The speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo has been released on bail by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) 48 hours after he was arrested.

Recall that Oluomo was apprehended by operatives of the agency at the Murtala Mohammed International airport in Lagos state on Thursday morning, September 1.

GWG reports that the speaker was arrested following allegations of fraud.

The media aide to the speaker, Abdulgaffar Adeleye confirmed that Oluomo was released from EFCC custody on Saturday, September 3 and that the speaker got home on Saturday morning.

GWG reports that before the news came in that Speaker Oluomo had been released from the custody of the EFCC that the arrest had created a sense of unease among many in the state.

Meanwhile, popular Nigerian singer, Daniel Benson popularly known as BNXN has given a recent update on the Swedish lady that leaked his nudes online.

GWG reports that Filma Jones, had claimed to be the singer’s girlfriend and had released his nude video on social media.

According to Jones, the music star dated, impregnated and dumped her.

The video which has since gone viral on social media has been received with mixed reactions.

In a later report, BNXN via his Snapchat page revealed that he was heartbroken.

“I’m incapable of loving anybody in this world asides Peggy. Before you step to me with whatever you think you got going on, know this,” he wrote.
