Chris Brown Remixed ‘Monalisa’ For Free – Lojay
Popular Nigerian singer and Headies award next rated nominee, Lekan Osifeso aka Lojay has revealed that American singer, Chris Brown refused a fee for the remix of his hit song ‘Monalisa.’
Lojay revealed this to The Nation in an exclusive chat recently while sharing details of the remix which happened a year after the song was produced.

“There was a budget for the remix of ‘Monalisa’ but he(Chris Brown) refused because he liked the song,” said Lojay.
‘Monalisa’ was released in June 2021 as a single off a collaborative EP entitled LV N ATTN by Lojay and Sarz.
The song bagged four award nominations in the just concluded 15th Headies award.
The song with over 100 million streams globally also exploded over time and was widely accepted by a global audience.
