Inside Details Of How Ifeani Ubah Escaped

Senator Ifeanyi Ubah escaped the gunmen attack on his convoy by his unexpected decision to abandon his loved Sequoia Toyota SUV for the armoured plated SUV multiple sources have told GWG.

GWG had earlier reported the attack on the convoy of Senator under attack at Enugwu Ukwu on Sunday evening.

A source revealed that Senator Ubah who hardly sleeps in his Nnewi base normally passes the night in Awka and was on his way to his base at the state capital when the incident happened.

“He had finished meetings in Nnewi and even the Anambra Central Senatorial candidate for YPP had passed that junction about seven minutes before Ifeanyi Ubah came.

What saved him was that he was riding in the armoured SUV and not the Sequoia which he normally loves to follow. That was what saved him because all the three persons in the Sequoia were killed.

“It was obviously an assassination attack because they came prepared for him in their numbers and they apparently knew he loves the Sequoia and focused on it but without getting at him,” the source close to Senator Ifeanyi Ubah said.

GWG reports that while responsibility for the attack has not been claimed multiple sources around Senator Unah affirmed that it was obviously an assassination attempt.

“They came well prepared for him, they knew that was his route and the Anambra Central Senatorial candidate of YPP passed and they did nothing but seven or so minutes they rushed out from their hiding places to attack. What saved Ifeanyi Ubah was that he was in his armoured plated vehicle otherwise it would have been another story,” one of the sources revealed of how Senator Ifeanyi Ubah was attacked.
