Ooni October Wives

Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, is reportedly planning to wed two additional wives in October after tying the knot twice in September.

GWG.NG reports that the monarch married Olori Mariam Anako, a princess from Kogi State, and then tied the knot again with Olori Elizabeth Opeoluwa Ogunwusi nee Akinmuda in Magodo, Lagos.

The monarch according to reports is now set to marry Tobi Phillips and Ashley Adegoke before turning 48 later this October.

Former beauty queen Tobi Phillips holds a degree in marine science from the University of Lagos. She was previously thought to succeed Olori Zainab Wuraola, who broke off her marriage to the monarch.

Prophetess Silekunola Naomi and The Ooni wed ultimately, although their union disintegrated in December 2021.

Queen Ashley, on the other hand, is a chartered accountant who currently runs the Ashley Adegoke Foundation, an NGO that helps underprivileged children and widows.

She holds a Masters degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Greenwich and currently operates her businesses in the United Kingdom.

Prior to his coronation, the Ooni was married to Adebukola Bombata in 2008, but the marriage ended in divorce.

Following his coronation, Ooni married Edo-born Zainab-Otiti Obanor in 2016, but the marriage lasted only 17 months.

Ooni then married Silekunola in 2018, and the couple had a son before she moved out last December.

The two new wives of the Ooni in October added to the two in September will bring his harem to four wives.
