Popular TVC Host, Morayo Afolabi-Brown Under Fire After Coming Out As Tinubu’s Strategist
Popular television host, Morayo Afolabi-Brown was under heavy fire on her Instagram page on Monday after she unveiled herself as a strategist for the actualisation of the Asiwaju Bola Tinubu presidential aspiration.
GWG.NG reports that Morayo Afolabi-Brown who came to national reckoning as a host of the popular Your View show on TVC said that her choice to be a strategist for Tinubu could not have been influenced by her affiliation to the station given that she is no longer a staff of the station.
While not giving any basic decision for her decision which she anchored on personal reasons, she came to justify herself saying:
Since I’m not a staff of TVC or an APC member, I was pleasantly surprised to be officially invited to join the APC Women Presidential Campaign media team. Now, in my career, being part of any Presidential campaign is a huge opportunity and experience. My area of strength is in strategy and I hope to bring this to bear in the media team.
Many may frown at this but my decision to accept this is very personal to me and me only. This is an exciting journey and I’m looking forward to the experience. My first task is to attend their official flag off today in Abuja. Looking forward to greater opportunities ahead.

Those who responded with a few exceptions expressed disappointment with her on frolicking with those they claimed brought the nation to its knees, with some vowing to break off from the show and following her.

I don’t really understand the mindset of people who support a party that has ravaged the country and failed so miserably in the last decade. I’m not sure if you’re an actual trained journalist or u consider yourself an on air personality or just someone who stumbled into journalism but the cornerstone of the free press is neutrality. Taking APC money is trading that. But the good thing here is that you have declared yourself openly unlike many others who do so behind secret doors.
