Akpanudoedehe Tenders Apology To Eastern Obolo On Behalf Of Akwa Ibom Government

Moved by the abject poverty, neglect and deprivation suffered by the people of Eastern Obolo, Senator JJ Akpanudoedehe on Saturday tendered an apology to the people on behalf of Akwa Ibom State.

“Please accept my apologies on their behalf for all that you’ve gone through. It is so sad to see this level of neglect despite your God-given resources. If there’s any Local Government that needs me in Akwa Ibom, it is Eastern Obolo and Esit Eket”, said the NNPP Candidate.

Senator Udoedehe was in Eastern Obolo to meet with the people in continuation of his ongoing Ward Tour.

Speaking at Iwafe Creek on behalf of the people of Southern Wards 5, 6, 7 and 9, a community Leader in the area, Chief Ebrukei applauded Senator Udoedehe for his courage and determination, despite the many hurdles he’s faced.

“For your courage to personally enter our creek to meet us, our people will support you”

“Our ancestors will stand in solidarity with you till you enter Akwa Ibom State Hiltop Mansion in 2023”

“You’ve already seen by yourself the poor State of our living conditions and infrastructure”

“Please help us in the demarcation of our boundary between Eastern Obolo and Ikot Abasi LGA when you are elected Governor”.

“Go to the 2023 poll and triumph, as I assure you of our people’s en mass Supports”, Akpanudoedehe said following the apology to Eastern Obolo.

Stakeholders from Eastern Obolo who attended the event included, Hon. David Monday, Hon. Evans Ekeriubo-NNPP Assembly candidate for Ikot Abasi and Eastern Obolo State Constituency, Hon. (Pst.) Patrick Ukoima, Mr. Williams Eteibo, Mr. Patrick Eshit, and many others.

Senator Udoedehe was accompanied to Eastern Obolo by top dignitaries in Akwa Ibom State and some key members of the Glorious Mission Campaign Council.
