Nigerians were hailing music sensation, Wizkid on Tuesday morning after his sympathetic gesture towards music rival Davido after he came out to delete a tweet promoting a new single following news of the death of Ifeanyi Adeleke.

GWG.NG reports that several Nigerians have been expressing shock on the death of three year old Ifeanyi which occurred after he drowned in a swimming pool in the father’s Banana Island, Lagos, residence.

Just before the news descended on social media late on Monday, Afrobeat sensation, Wizkid had sent out a tweet on his new single, Money & Love which is a spin-off from his new album, ‘More Love, Less Ego’ which the artist confirmed will be released on November 4th.

Wizkid had taken to twitter to again put a reminder to his fans on the imminent release of the single just about midnight on Monday.

The music star, however, deleted his tweet not long after apparently after being informed of the circumstances facing his rival and colleague, Davido over the fate of his son.
Three-year-old Ifenayi reportedly passed on after drowning in the pool in his father’s Banana Island mansion.

Meanwhile besides Wizkid who showed empathy by deleting his tweet, other celebrities across Nigeria have been expressing grief over the incident and condoling Davido.
