Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has accused his rival, Atiku Abubakar and the PDP of being a nest of troublemakers noting how the former vice-president fought President Olusegun Obasanjo when they were in office between 1999 and 2007.

Tinubu spoke in Warri, Delta State at the flag-off of the governorship campaign of the APC governorship candidate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.

At the well attended ceremony at the Warri Stadium, Tinubu who was flanked by his running mate Senator Kashim Shettima, his campaign manager, Governor Simon Lalong, Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole,  Omo-Agege, among others, lampooned the PDP as a platform for crisis noting the continuing conflict in the party among its stakeholders.

According to him a party where its members cannot live in peace with one another cannot be guaranteed to effectively lead the country.

He noted that the kind of conflict existing in the PDP which he described as a nest of troublemakers, Tinubu said it was the trait for rancour that saw Atiku fight with President Obasanjo when they were in power which he said led them to open the can of worms on one another on how they misused the PTDF funds to buy cars for girlfriends.

Speaking earlier and in the same belligerent tone, Omo-Agege accused Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of betraying Southern Nigeria with his decision to accept the position of running mate to Atiku.
