Emotions Flow As Apostle Suleman Tells How He Wept With Okposo After Adultery Scandal

Strong reactions were flowing out at the weekend after Apostle Johnson Suleman chided Christians for supposedly abandoning star singer, Sammie Okposo who slumped and died on Friday morning.

Though he did not mention Okposo by name, the inference was obvious and many tweeps took to twitter to give their reactions on the assertion that Okposo was abandoned.

GWG.NG reports that the assertion was against the background of the adultery mess the late singer found himself and his subsequent reaction of God’s exoneration amidst the outrage.

Remarkably, the assertion by Apostle Suleman was shadowed with reactions by some who also observed the serial allegations of adultery made against the Auchi based cleric and his narrow escape from kidnappers who killed a number of security agents in his travelling party.

Love truly has left the church, in this part of the world its even the faithfuls that drags the anointed till they destroy him totally, just same way Apostle Dr Basil Princewill is serving jail term over what he did not do. NO man is above mistakes, I turn deaf ears most times to an anointed being dragged over a sin he committed out of mistake just like an ordinary being would too. Yesterday was when I learnt the full gist of what he was going through.

Average Celebrity Couple @averageCcouple looked beyond the claim of Apostle Suleman on Okposo, rather saying:

I know you must have reached out to those gallant officers who risked their lives trying to protect you. Next time tell your members to buy bullet proof vehicles rather than sow seeds or pray for divine protection cos obviously your faith no carry am #truthhasleftthechurch

Love has not and will never leave the church. The church is God’s personal property and God is love. The problem with this generation of pastors and ‘their followers’ is that they try to be like the world and started putting up shows and you think the old timers will be proud NO!

Thank God that he confided in you but if I may ask.what did you do with what he shared with you? How many pastors did you reach out to on his behalf? No doubt, the church needs healing but I sincerely hope that you played your part in his trying times, beyond the tears.

“I will build my Church and the gate of hell shall not prevail against it”, says the Lord. There’s still love in the true Church. Church had vanished in Nigeria. All that’s left is fractionalized social clubs and deception centers. It’s impossible to find love in such environment

A family doesn’t bring up it’s problems to the public. I read a guys comment;; saying this is why he doesn’t go to church, what has your post achieved like this? would the late minister want that, we shall all stand before the judgement sit.

Victor @chidiakarakah

Oga go and sit down! Was that the empathy you also showed when your security aides were murdered? Didn’t you insult our sensibilities by telling us that you were a child of God who couldn’t be killed? You’re a hypocrite pls! If not for that bulletproof vehicle….
