Gunmen Kill Four In Fresh Kaduna Attack

Four persons have been killed by unknown persons suspected to begunmen in Kaura Local Government Areas of Kaduna State.

This is barely 24 hours after terrorists killed three people in a separate attack on two Communities in Zango Kataf Local Government Area.

GWG.ng reports that four persons were gruesomely killed in Kamuru Village and Ungwan Alulu in Zango Kataf LGA, while three were killed in Kpak and Malagum communities on Tuesday afternoon.

The Executive Chairman of Zango Kataf Local Government, Hon. Francis Sani (Zimbo), who confirmed the incident on Wednesday said four people were killed while four sustained gunshot injuries and were receiving treatment at a hospital.

The council chairman urges residents in the area to remain calm and allow security agencies to do a thorough job of bringing the preparators to book.

“I am calling on affected communities and other neighbouring villages to be vigilant while going about their normal businesses.

“We’re approaching festive period. We must remain steadfast in prayers and be watchful in order to keep our communities safe,” Francis cautioned.

When contacted, the spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command, Mohammed Jalige, said he was attending an event and promised to respond with appropriate information on the sad incident.
