Many Nollywood Actors, Actresses Are Broke – Actor Deyemi Okanlawo 

Popular Nollywood actor, Deyemi Okanlawo, has revealed that some of his colleagues in the entertainment industry are broke. 

Deyemi Okanlawo made this known while responding to a fan who assumed that fame brings money.

Deyemi in a post shared on Twitter said it is more important to aim towards the highest earning and not highest grossing movies or highest featured. Reacting to this, a fan said he had thought that fame brings money. 

However, Deyemi Okanlawo pointed out that there are many famous broke people as fame is just a byproduct. According to him, it is talent, work strategy, and ethics that bring the money. See the conversation below: He wrote: “Not every time aim for highest grossing or highest featured.. more often reach for highest earning #alist” Tallbertiie asked: “I thought the fame brings the bag??”

He replied: “There are lot of famous broke people.. fame is a byproduct, it’s the talent and the grind (work strategy and work ethic) that brings the bag”.

GWG.ng reports that the assertion by Deyemi Okanlawo of many stars being broke is not new as many have been accused of living to meet public perception.
