2023: NNPP Will Delist Nasarawa From Educationally Disadvantaged States

LAFIA —GOVERNORSHIP Candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP in Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Maidoya has promised to give priority to security in all  parts of the state in order to tackle insecurity such as kidnapping being experienced in the state.

 This is even as he said the envisaged NNPP administration would make education affordable, attractive and simple from primary to secondary school  in order for the state to compete  favourably with other states and remove the state from the list of the educationally disadvantaged states.

Speaking at the flag-off of his campaign in Kokona Local government of the state, Maidoya added that Nasarawa State as  an agrarian state, therefore, his  NNPP government would secure communities to enable farmers to go to farms without the fear of being attacked.

While stating that no state can develop beyond the level of its education, primary, secondary schools would be heavely funded,  free and compulsory to sure that people have no reason not to go to school.

Also speaking, Presidential candidate of the party,  Rabi’u Musa- Kwankwaso said NNPP would offer free and compulsory education from Primary to Secondary school levels.

Musa-Kwankwaso  also promised that the NNPP  administration would pay  West African Examination Council, National Examination Council (NECO) and Joint Admission and Matriculation Board Examination  fee for  all students in the country.

“As a nation with youth population increasing rapidly, we can not afford to toy with the education of our youths”, the presidential candidate declared.

He urged Nigerians not to be deceived by those seeking for their votes without anything tangible  to offer.

On his part,  Director General of the governorship campaign, Barr. Innocent Lagi, said the party would do things differently if elected in 2023.

According to him, “power is a trust from the people and the  trust must be keep the trust”
