Tinubu money

Reno Omokri, an aide of Atiku Abubakar was under fire on twitter on Wednesday morning after posting a video of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu supposedly sharing money to those he termed as politicians at a political event.

What Omokri termed as Tinubu sharing money to politicians turned out to be what many others including critics of the APC presidential candidate saw as the act of generosity to a seeming destitute.

The man had approached Tinubu’s running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima who in turn passed over the money to Tinubu to give to the man.

See video as shared by Reno Omokri captioned as Tinubu sharing money to politicians.

Reacting to the video supporters and independents said:

cornBATive @Boboem4

Is it your money he is giving or Atiku’s money. He can give any body his money, do you have problem with that?.

Shehu ❁ @shehuofficial_

NAwa oooh is it bad to gift someone again ????

F@ @fiyangan

What’s wrong about that? We are generous people

Roi Asíwájú  @KareemAhmeed20

Is that how you translate it bcs you said Politicians buh he only gave money to one man just

Azeez Adeniyi @Adeniyi66

Sadly for people like you. Kind gesture like this keeps Asiwaju going. A RARE GEM when come to kindness. He said it before that people like this man deserves to be assisted with or without him having PVC.

Kuppar Kash @KupparKash

No Points sir, because this is what Nigerians( even you) are known for. And the other guys dey run their own too lowkey. Bring something tangible to the table please I’m not supporting Tinubu or anybody but you saying him sharing funds was caught then Hypocrite ni everybody.

SpiritMadeMan @EkongKingMoses1

You say sharing money, how many people as seen in the video did He give money that you say He was sharing money? That man came begging for help and He helped Him with some cash which see nothing wrong with that, he wasn’t sharing any money Oga Reno.

Solobizzy @solomonbekebo

The man appears to be in need and all I can see is Shettima trying to help him but didn’t want to take the glory hence passing it to BAT.

Ojochenemi @EnefuJohn

It was a kind gesture towards the recipient who’s quite aged. Do you know how he got to Tinubu in the midst of the tight security? Your own strategy of using everything to run down opponents is bad, negative energy.

Musa Abubakar Mussaddiq @MusaMussaddiq

Sir that man was physically harassed & oppressed by some1, somehow D news got to Asiwaju & Shettima, after listening to all the problems and the love he naturally have for them, they decided to give him transport. That’s who I see it. If you don’t see it lyk dat on ur own.

Abdullah Ahmad Ola @AbdullahAhmadO1

Imagine, because he gifted his ADC money, that means he’s sharing money? For a rationale person, how can Tinubu will be sharing money to pple himself? Or is the police also a politician?  . Egbon say something else. I even made a mistake I watched d video.

Olabayo Oladejo @MrOla_2022

That individual in the video doesn’t look like a politician my man, he look like someone who need help.

There were, however, a few who took in the video and believed Tinubu was sharing money to politicians.

Chidiebere Omenihu @ChidiebereOmen5

See who wants to lead us Nigerians apc pdp government na d same ooo let’s change this kind of narrative in politics 2023

Bamzworld27 @bamzworld27

And Some people will still vote for this man… The question I keep asking them, if you have a business/company can you give it to a man of his age to direct and manage it. They will say no he’s old already.. so why are we trading nigeria. Nigerians has to wake up. It’s our time
