2023 Elections: “Wake Up Nigerians” – Actor Williams Uchemba Cries Out
Nigerian actor Williams Uchemba has issued a powerful call to action for Nigerians, urging them to “wake up” and take control of their country’s future.
In a video released on social media, Uchemba decried the apathy and distraction that he sees among many Nigerians, who are more focused on social media and TV shows than on the forthcoming presidential polls.
According to Uchemba, there are powerful forces working against the country and its people, and the only way to counter them is through active citizen engagement.
He specifically calls on Nigerians to register to vote, and to use their ballots to make their voices heard.
“I cannot keep mute with the information I have but can’t share,” Uchemba says.
“All I can do is cry to Nigerians to go and pick up their PVC and vote, because that is the only power we have now to counter and overpower the enemies of this country.”
