Chelsea have reportedly reached an agreement with Dutch side PSV Eindhoven for the signing of English forward Noni Madueke for a £35 million permanent deal.

Todd Boehly has made several signings this January transfer window most notably investing in players under the age of 23. The Chelsea board are building a structure of youth for the future and have now added another player to that list in PSV’s Noni Madueke. The forward who can play on both sides of the wing, has been more than impressive in the Dutch Eridivise catching the eye of various European big clubs seeking his signature.

However, the Blues have won the race to sign him and have confirmed that an agreement has been reached between both clubs for a fee in the region of £35 million. Born to Nigerian parents in England, the 20-year-old will now fly to London for medical tests and will be officially announced a Chelsea player once the contract is sealed.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have confirmed the signing of Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Leandro Trossard a fee in the region of £27 million. The 28-year-old will wear the number 19 Jersey at the Emirates and is available for selection for their top of the table clash against Manchester United on Sunday.

The Gunners entered the race to sign the Belgium international, after his agent confirmed his desire to leave the club after falling out with the Seagulls head coach Roberto De Zerbi. The Italian boss dropped the midfielder from their starting lineup in the FA Cup just after the World Cup break and it was reported that Trossard was unhappy with the decision and responded badly to the manager. His agent further claimed that De Zerbi “disrespected” the midfielder and that his client wanted a move away from the Amex.
