Atiku-Okowa Coalition Urges Unity After Supreme Court Decision On Edo PDP

The Edo State chapter of the Atiku-Okowa Coalition has congratulated members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Edo State over the Supreme Court judgment that resolved the tussle over the structure of the party in the state.

The coalition in a statement issued by its director, Hon. Victor Ebomoi made available to GWG.ng urged all party members to unite behind the common goals of the party in delivering Atiku-Okowa in the presidential election and the party’s candidates across all levels.

He said:

It is with a profound sense of joy and fulfilment that I congratulate the family of PDP, Edo State, on the Supreme Court judgement of Wednesday, 1st February, 2023. The judgement is victory for the party, the rule of law, and democracy in general. Consequently, there are no victors, no vanquished.

*Atiku Okowa Coalition, Edo State*, hereby appeals to all party faithfuls and the various interest groups within the PDP to close ranks and work together like a united family to deliver Atiku Okowa and all PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections. This is the time for stronger integration rather than separation.

I wish to re-emphasize that Atiku Okowa Coalition is out to complement the efforts of His Excellency, Governor Godwin Obaseki, and the PDP to deliver Atiku Okowa and all PDP candidates in the general elections of 2023.
