Breaking: More Suspense As Supreme Court Adjourns Hearing On Naira Suit
The Supreme Court has adjourned the suit filed by three states of Kaduna, Kogi and Zamfara to challenge the naira redesign policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to Wednesday, February 22, 2023
The decision came after the apex court joined nine other states which had applied to be joined in the suit.
The states are Katsina, Lagos, Cross River, Ogun, Ekiti, Ondo and Sokoto states bringing the new total of plaintiffs to ten.
GWG.ng reports that Edo and Bayelsa States on the other hand applied to be joined as respondents.
