Obi’s Supporters Mock As Vicious Critic Declares Voting Intention

Supporters of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi were mocking on Friday, hours to the opening of the polls when one of the most vicious critics of the candidate opened up on his support for Omoyele Sowore, the African Action Congress, AAC presidential candidate.

GWG.ng reports that Comrade Deji Adeyanju who has for long criticised Obi and mocked him over his lack of a political structure had been seen as a front for one of the other established presidential candidates, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar.

Adeyanju had in August 2022 said he would stake $10,000 to prove his claim that Obi would come a distant third in the election.

The activist, however, shocked many of Obi’s supporters when a foe they had considered as a vicious critic declared that he would be voting for Sowore, the AAC presidential candidate making some of them to mock.

I have not campaigned for anyone since the beginning of this election till now. Neither have I followed anyone to any rally or asked Nigerians to vote any politician either on Whatsapp or anywhere else but my one vote which the constitution gives me power to use is for SOWORE.

Among the first to respond was his fellow activist, Senator Shehu Sani. However, several others took him to task over his past criticism of Obi as lacking the capacity to defeat the PDP and APC on account of structure.
