There were concerns in Yola, Adamawa State when PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar voted by 9.10 a.m. in Yola, Adamawa State with several eyes watching him denying him the privacy needed to cast his vote in secret.

GWG.ng reports that Atiku who was number 61 on the voter’s register  came along with his wife, Titi Abubakar to the voting point at Unit 012, Ajiya Ward in Yola North.

It took the former vice-president about two minutes to be accredited and cast his vote.

There were, however, concerns about the crowd around the PDP candidate as he voted with several eyes prying on him as he went to the voting box, looking over his shoulder as he cast his vote.

Though there is any doubt as to who he may have cast his vote for, there were concerns among some pundits that the PDP candidate did not have the privacy to cast his vote given the eyes that pried.

Speaking after casting his vote, Atiku told waiting newsmen that he was very optimistic of his success in the poll saying that he and the PDP would win the election.

Asked on his take on the naira redesign policy, Atiku said that it was mainly designed to avert vote-buying.
