Wike Disappointed As BVAS Fails To Authenticate Him

The governor was asked to go and come back to enable the officials put the BVAS machine in proper order.
His story was, however, different from his neighbour, Governor Douyle Diri of Bayelsa State who praised the efficiency of the INEC process saying that he was seamlessly processed to cast his vote.
However, Governor Wike speaking on his experience at the polling station as he walked away after more than five minutes waiting for the BVAS to process him said:
“I stayed for up to five minutes there, I couldn’t vote and I was told to go and come back,” Governor Wike said following the failure of the BVAS machine to authenticate him.
“I am highly disappointed if a number of people are disenfranchised, what do you expect? People could lose their temper . INEC should have made things ready,” Governor Wike said following his disappointment by the BVAS.
