Okowa Holds Unit As Labour Demystifies PDP In Delta

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP presidential running mate comprehensively delivered his polling unit to his party but the same story was not the same for his anointed successor as governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.

GWG.ng reports that in Okowa’s polling unit at Polling unit 17 in Owa-Alero Ika North East LGA Delta State that the PDP won 160 votes as compared to Labour which polled 6 votes with the APC trailing with 4 votes.

However, it was a reverse of fortune for Oborowheri, the speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly as the PDP lost in a colossal defeat to Labour in his polling unit at Oha Ward, Osubi.

GWG.ng reports that Labour polled 126 votes to defeat PDP with 16 votes while the APC scored zero.

Besides neighbouring polling units near Okowa’s home in Owa-Alero that Labour was cruising to victory in most of the polling units declared in Delta State in the presidential election.
