Students of the University of Ibadan, UI have been replying antagonists of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi chanting that he was winning without structure.

GWG.ng reports that established political leaders had in the days leading to the election dismissed the chances of Obi winning the presidential election on the ground that he lacks the political structure needed to deliver the votes.

Obi joined the Labour Party few weeks to the end of nominations last June and immediately turned into a phenomenon with his movement to upturn the two established political parties, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Officials of the two parties, however, rebuffed the insurgency with the assertion that Obi lacks the structure to win.

However, on Saturday evening as the results of the elections trickled in with Obi making good show in several areas in the country the allusion as to lack of structure turned into a mockery of the Labour Party’s antagonists.

According to reports, Obi won 3,258 votes beating Bola Tinubu, the APC candidate to a distant second with 520 votes and Atiku Abubakar of the PDP who scored 179 votes.

The students mocked as the results came in with Labour reportedly sweeping all the polling units within the university community.

As the votes of the Labour Party were counted, the UI students chanted No Structure after every mention of Obi!
