Sani Abacha’s Son, Abdullahi Dies In Abuja At 36
Abdullahi Sani Abacha, son of the deceased former military head of state has died at 36. He died in his sleep at the family’s Nelson Mandela Street residence in Abuja.
His sister, Gumsu Sani Abacha, wife of Governor Buni of Yobe State, who posted news of the development, however, did not give further details
According to the post, Abdullahi died in the early hours of the day.
“Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. I lost my younger brother Abdullahi Sani Abacha,” she wrote.
Gumsu disclosed that her younger brother died in his sleep.
“May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him jannatul firdous, Ameen. Please include him in your prayers,” she added.
His father, Gen. Sani Abacha died 24 years ago after five years of maximum dictatorship opening the space for the return to civil rule.
