Arsenal restored their five-point lead at the top of the Premier League with an emphatic 3-0 victory over Fulham on Sunday and carved out a small slice of top-flight history in the process in their latest derby win.

Gabriel, Gabriel Martinelli and captain Martin Odegaard all scored in the first half as the Gunners became the first team to win five consecutive away London derbies without conceding a single goal.

Leandro Trossard provided a trio of assists as Mikel Arteta’s side took advantage of Fulham’s porous defence at Craven Cottage.

Marco Silva’s Fulham Cottagers, who had lost only once in their previous seven home games in all competitions, are now eighth in the league. For the Gunners, they keep up the pace for a first league title success since their famous ‘Invincibles’ triumph in 2004.

Three Key facts as Arsenal beat Fulham 3-0 in at Craven Cottage in the Sunday London derby:

• 3 – Leandro Trossard is the first player in Premier League history to make a hat-trick of assists in the first half of an away game.

• 5 – Arsenal have become the first side in English Football League history to win five consecutive London derbies away from home without conceding a goal.

• 10+ – Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are the only teams in Europe’s top 10 leagues with three players on 10+ league goals this season:

12 – Martinelli

10 – Saka

10 – Ødegaard

19 – Mbappé

13 – Neymar

13 – Messi
