Omo-Agege votes

The All Progressives Congress, APC governorship candidate in Delta State, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege voted in his polling unit in Ughelli on Saturday morning asserting that he will be declared governor of the state despite what he alleged as the ongoing mischiefs of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

“Today is the day and I have cast my vote. The feelers we are having are the feelers that we have been having for more than a month and the momentum was there coming into the polling today and I expect that at the end of the day we will be declared the winner.”

Noting the intimidation allegedly being orchestrated by the PDP, to destroy votes in Delta Central, he said:

“Since morning we have received reports of those attacks in polling units in Ughelli South and of course some mischief going on since last night in Gbaramatu and Oporoza in Warri Southwest.

“All along we have been getting security agencies to be responding and they have been responding but it appears that they are being overwhelmed because here we are trying to protect our votes, our turf all across the state. But for them, they don’t have votes to protect, they just attack, attack and attack. but at the end of the day I am confident I will be declared governor of Delta State,” Omo-Agege said in assuring that he will be declared governor after he cast his vote.

On his message to Deltans, he said:
“This is the day that the Lord has made, a day that we have looked forward to, it is going to end in praise. Just come out, cast your vote, ignore all of the provocations because the idea is to provoke them so that there will be cancellations. So much of this is ongoing in Uvwie.

“Uvwie is a war zone where people are being threatened that if you don’t vote PDP don’t come out and those who have come out are being threatened that they will be killed. My message is hang in there.”
