Mutfwang Is Governor-Elect On The Plateau
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has declared Barrister Caleb Mutfwang of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP winner of the governorship election in Plateau.
Mutfwang was returned as the winner of the election having scored the highest number of legal votes with 525,299 votes to beat his closest opponent from the All Progressives Congress, who scored 481,370 votes. The Labour Party polled 59,410.
GWG.ng reports that his victory returns the PDP to power on the plateau following eight years of the APC.
