Supporters of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi popularly referred to as ‘Obidients’ have dug up clips from interview of then Vice Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2015, Yemi Osinbajo saying the party will form a parallel government if the presidential election which the party eventually does not reflect the wish of Nigerians.

GWG.ng reports that the APC, a merger of about five political parties made history when it won the 2015 presidential election that saw a sitting president, Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) losing the election.

The Obidient movement presented that clips as as a counter narrative to the reactions trailing the interview of the Labour Party Vice Presidential candidate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed.

In the said interview, Baba-Ahmed, called on President Muhammadu Buhari and the Chief Justice of Nigeria not to swear in Bola Tinubu, whom INEC declared as the president-elect, insisting that declaring Tinubu a winner and issuing him a certificate of return was against the constitution.

Baba-Ahmed who was a guest on Channels TV’s Politics Today, went on to stress that “whoever swears in Mr Tinubu” has “ended Democracy” in Nigeria.

However, Baba-Ahmed’s position in the interview didn’t sit well with many who have accused but Datti and his principal, Peter Obi of treason.
