Why I Stopped Singing Worldly Music, Chidinma

Popular singer, Chidinma Ekile recently revealed the reason she stopped singing secular/worldly music, and switched to gospel.

The artist, who gained fame after winning Project Fame in 2010, stated that she felt empty while doing secular music, which led to her decision to become a Minister of God and never return to that genre.

In a YouTube video posted, Chidinma said that she was searching for fulfilment, but was unable to find it until she reconnected with God.

This reconnection gave her the sense of purpose and fulfilment she had been searching for, prompting her to leave secular music.

“I was looking for my fulfilment but I didn’t find it until I reconnected with my source,” she said.
