Renewed Shege! Nigerians Cry Out Over Petrol Price Chaos

Nigerians have been thrown into agony trending Renewed shege after the removal of the subsidy on petrol price threw their expectations of hope with the ascent of the Bola Tinubu administration out of balance.

According to the new official price petrol will now sell between ₦488 and ₦557, depending on the location.

Recall that on May 29, President Tinubu during his inaugural speech, stated that there was no provision for subsidy in the 2023 budget from June to December and with it throwing prices of goods and services off balance across the country.

. This has caused a scarcity of petrol as well as a hike in the price of the product.

Nigerians have taken to social media to air out their grievances, trending #renewnedshege on Twitter with over 7,000 tweets. GWG.ng report these tweets;
