Friends Outraged As Ini Edo Is Attacked Over Father’s Day Post With ‘Fatherless’ Child

Popular Nollywood actress, Ini Edo has come under attack after sharing a picture of herself and her daughter, Light on Fathers’ Day.

GWG.ng reports that the controversy arose after the screen star welcomed her baby through an anonymous sperm donor and through surrogacy in 2021, a development that removed her baby, Light from the prospects of ever knowing her true father.

‘’Happy Fathers day from ME AND MINE” greeted her fans on the occasion of Father’s Day.

However, some Instagram users berated Ini Edo for celebrating Fathers’ Day while others supported her decision to celebrate the day.

Recall that Ini Edo welcomed Light on March 15, 2021, via surrogacy. She once granted an interview where she revealed that she opted for a sperm donor for her peace of mind, as well as to avoid the fights fathers and mothers have whenever they fall out.
