Shettima Arrives Sokoto State To Visit

Vice President Kashim Shettima on Friday arrived in Sokoto State to pay a Sallah visit to Sultan Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar. 

Before to his arrival in Sokoto, the Vice President had recently travelled to his home state in Borno for the Sallah festival. During his visit, he paid a courtesy call to the Shehu of Borno, Abubakar Garbai El-Amin Sl-Kanemi, at the palace.

Recall that following the observation of the Eid prayers at the National Eid ground in Abuja, Shettima departed for Borno before heading to Sokoto.

While at the Eid ground in Abuja, the Vice President offered prayers for lasting healing in Nigeria and urged unity among the people.
