Naira Rises Against Dollar, Exchanges N741 to $1

The naira has strengthened against the dollar, trading at N741.50 at the end of business on Monday, July 3. According to FX statistics, $88.68 million was exchanged at the investors and exporters window on Monday.

At the conclusion of business on June 30, the naira had increased by 3.61 percent as compared to N769.25, its exchange rate for the dollar.

On Monday, N760.39 to $1 was the open indicative rate’s final value. Prior to settling at N741.50 during the day’s trading, the highest exchange rate ever seen was N792 to the dollar.
