Prominent Nigerian singer, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has revealed that he would walk naked from one end of Bourdlillion Street to Falomo Roundabout in Ikoyi Lagos should Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, win at the election tribunal.

Recall that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Tinubu, was declared the winner of the Febuary 25th presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and was subsequently sworn in as president on May 29.

Peter Obi and his party, including the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, are currently challenging the victory of President Tinubu in court.

In a post shared on Twitter, Charly Boy vowed to walk naked on the street of Bourdillon to Falomo if the former governor of Anambra State wins at the Tribunal.

He wrote, “When Tribunal announce say Peter Obi don win even before the case reach Supreme Court, wetin you go do dat day?

“For me, I go naked waka from one end of Bodillon to Falomo [sic]”.

GWG.ng reports that the pledge by Charly Boy to walk naked is among eccentric pledges made by Nigerians to support their political patrons but it was not made clear if he means the final case at the tribunal or at the Presidential Election Petition Court.
